After the wonderful Festival de Fontainebleau and some sunny holidays, this automne brings many new projects. I’m very happy to announce that I joined last spring the George Sand Piano Trio, with violinist Virginie Buscail and pianist Anne-Lise Gastaldi, and the contemporary music ensemble “Le Cercle” with pianist Dana Ciocarlie, violinist Yaïr Benaim, and clarinet player Mariam Adam.
On September 24 I will play again with Gerard Poulet, and also with violinist Julien Fourrier and pianist Tamayo Ikeda, a nice program including Haydn, Dvorak, Debussy and Ravel, at the Temple Cortambert in Paris XVIth arrondissement.
Right after, on September 27 in South West of France, in the nice village of Hontanx, I will play a solo cello recital “When the cello tells the story of the 20th century”: Bach, Britten, Chostakovitch, Lutoslawsky, Grief, Cassado…
Next Octobre will be released my first recording with the George Sand Trio, a program including Mahler transcriptions and new pieces by composers Noriko Baba and Gerard Pesson. And on November 15 we will play Clara Schumann’s Trio in the Paris CNSMD.
On November 22 and 28 the ensemble ” Le Cercle” will play Olivier Messiaen’s monumental “Quatuor pour la fin du temps” and Philippe Hersant’s poetical “Nachtegesang” in the Conservatoires of the 15th and 19th arrondissements of Paris.
