New year, new projects

Despite the pandemic, we were able to celebrate in 2021 the centennial of the Fontainebleau schools of music and Fine arts with many concerts and other wonderful events!

To start the new year 2022 with fresh air, I will be with my Trio George Sand in Val d’Isère for the ClassicaVal festival from January 17 to 20. Join us for many nice programs, from Boccherini to Mahler.

If the pandemic gives us a little brake, I will have the opportunity to be a jury member at the 6th Pretoria international competition in South Arica, from January 24 to February 5th.

With my friends from the George Sand trio, having violist Violaine Despeyroux and soprano Jennifer Tani joining us, we will present our new released CD at the La Grange – Fleuret library in Paris, on February 16th.  We will play the same program on March 8 at the Théâtre du Châtelet.

We will finally have the pleasure to present to the public our project Beetho20, with my friends Ami Flammer, Paul Serri and Michel Michalakakos, at the Toulon  theatre on February 27. What a challenge to play the Beethoven 3 last string quartets in the same evening!

On March 12 there will be another project coming to life: I will play with Marianne Piketty and the young “soloists of Villedieu” in Trappes, a program including Mendelssohn, Dvorak and Puccini string quartets.

I will teach again, unfortunately online, due to pandemic, at the Academie de musique française de Kyoto, in Japan, from March 22 to April 3.
